The Women and Gender Studies Program at Illinois State University offers a broad range of events and courses and for students across all disciplines. Women's Studies analyzes gender issues, along with race, class, and ethnicity, to focus on women's contributions to society and examine the gender implications of political, economic and cultural processes in the United States and around the world.
The Women's Studies Program offers an undergraduate minor and graduate certificate, with a curriculum of 35 courses in 10 ten academic departments in addition to Women's Studies. Students have the opportunity to learn from and work with dedicated faculty and community members, and take advantage of a multitude of resources to further their learning.
